I think the reefs (man made) were damaged on the hurricanes, they seemed like they may have been spread out a little more then I remembered. No matter, we did see a lot of nice fish and the beach there is very nice. The kids and the parents really enjoyed it. I would recommend it if you have been there before or have some visitors that you need to entertain. It is a little pricey, by S Fla standards, I think it was 16 bucks a car.
There has been record breaking heat all over the world, even Russia has seen temperatures as high as 100 degrees.

Having such an early migration is great for birders, but not a good sign for the world.

The southern migration is starting, and the storm last weekend has blown many birds toward South Florida. We should start to see more birds especially the warblers the small colorful birds that flutter through the trees.

I would like to hear from you if you see any birds that you can't identify, perhaps Jungle Jim or I can help to tell you what that bird is.

Many years ago when Weston was young, I was able to identify over 100 species of birds in the area. Because we are locked out of the good birding areas I am not sure about whats happening to nature in Weston.

If you see any wildlife around please tell me about it.

Unfortunatley our leaders are brain dead when it comes to nature.
